1966 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst
I'm proud to offer this crazy clean 1966 Fender Stratocaster in original Sunburst finish! I'm drawn to this one because it's both near mint with low miles and has premium modern playability as a result of the factory style refret which retains the original fret width (wide), height, crown shape, an fret end look.
Measurements:Ā 7.8 lbs / 3.6 kg total weight. The neck measures 1.63" / 41.3mm wide at the nut, 0.91" deep at the first fret, and 0.93" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 5.49k ohms, the middle reads 5.47k ohms, and the bridge pickup reads 5.51k ohms. The neck heel date reads "13JAN66B".Ā
Originality:Ā This Stratocaster is original inside and out other than a re-fret and one pickup height adjustment screw!
Playability:Ā Excellent. The neck is dead straight, truss rod functions as intended, has a fantastic factory style refret in the same style as the original wide frets. The electronics are clean and operate as intended.
Condition:Ā Excellent! The finish shows very light checking and no fading of the rich Sunburst color. There are two areas on the back of the body where tape was removed, but they're difficult to see.Ā
Included: The original case and tremolo arm are included.
