1941 Gibson Super Jumbo 100

1941 Gibson Super Jumbo 100

This fine vintage 1941 Gibson Super Jumbo 100 acoustic guitar is a joy to play. It's sold now but I'm always looking to buy nice examples of vintage Gibson acoustic guitars. You can contact me here to sell a vintage Gibson guitar.

"Super Jumbo 100 - Flat top and back - In creating this fine flat top model guitar not a single Gibson innovation for tone perfection has been slighted in any way. It is an instrument that never fails to bring forth superlative praise from those desiring a deep, brilliant tone guitar at a price considerably below the top."

Make and Model: Gibson Super Jumbo 100

Year: 1941

Specifications: 17" wide lower bout, Mahogany back and sides with Adirondack Spruce top, 25 1/2" scale length. 1 11/16" wide nut, .90" neck depth at the first fret. 4lbs 9oz.

Repairs: Neck reset, bridge reglue, pickguard reglue with top crack repair next to fretboard extension, frets 1-3 transplanted from a '41 Kalamazoo KGH-12.

Originality: All parts original except tuners (vintage replacements) and saddle.

Playability: Excellent! This guitar needs nothing and plays like a dream.

Notes: One of only 138 ever made and just in from the son of the daughter of the original owner! This truly uncirculated 1941 Gibson SJ-100 has survived in great condition inside its original Geib red line case. I'm confident you'll love this clean and rare 1941 Gibson Super Jumbo 100!
